The Abrahamic Foundation was established in 2009 to serve the diverse needs of the Muslim community. It was founded by a group of scholars, teachers and other professional members of the community.
The aim of the organisation is to create a centre that excels in providing high-quality services in education, youth work, training, new Muslim provisions, and many other bespoke community services.
The Abrahamic Foundation is an inclusive organisation and endeavours on serving the community regardless of colour, race or ideological orientation. The Abrahamic Foundation does not subscribe to any political ideology or schools of thought. The Trustees represent different members of the Muslim community from different backgrounds and different races.
The Abrahamic Foundation is a Masjid that takes its inspiration from the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ masjid in creating communities of Iman and prosperity. Our name is derived from our love for the Prophet Ibrahim (peace and blessings be upon him) and that the Islamic foundations lay upon his millah (way) of tawhid and submission to Allah alone.
Then We revealed to you ˹O Muhammad˺: “Follow the religion of Abraham, the upright, who was not an idolater. ”al-Quran, 16:123
The Abrahamic Foundation has no connection to the Abraham Accords or the notion that all monotheist religions are one, also known as perennialism.
